Dream #1: The crocodile jury

Share: I am writing to you because I have a question to ask you but also a dream that I want you to analyze. My question is the following: I have the idea to make a blog in the name is associated with that of an Angel. I share with you my dream which is related to my previous question. I have already tried to work on the interpretation of my dream, I have found tracks, such as: justice, I want to change the world by imposing my vision ... In the end, I entrust you my dream because I confess to be sure of nothing.

Before I went to sleep, I asked for a dream about what I should do for a job in my life, because I had been offered another job at the workplace that I didn't like, although I could work longer and get more money. The work there was very hard physically and psychologically. I was very disappointed with my situation, almost desperate, I felt like I couldn't get out of it, considering the current situation of our company and my responsibilities (apartment, food, bills...). That's why I asked for a dream about what I should do.

Dream : The dream begins in a street in the evening, I pass in front of a shop window, in which there are many televisions. I arrive in front of a building and then I reach a studio where there are television staff. There is one who has a headset. I walk to the door of the TV set, I push it, behind it a reality TV contest is taking place. The purpose of the show is to determine a winner, a kind of beauty contest, where young people who seem to be teenagers, even adults, win if they manage to please crocodiles.

I am high up and far enough away to see the plateau and a footbridge to a pond with reeds, stones. The parents of the teenagers are present around the pond, they support their children, they all want their child to succeed (in short, that each of the children pass the test and succeed in being elected). There is a TV set, around the set there is a crowd sitting in bleachers. In the center of the set, there is a circular, oval table where the presenter, speakers and a guest are seated.

Parents continue to encourage their children, as they would before an exam or a big contest. Each parent has their own method of encouragement. One parent makes his child understand that he is the best, the most beautiful: another parent uses softness and reassures his child. The second to last parent says nothing but his insistent look sets the tone, he expects results. Finally, the last parent (a mother) shows more aggressiveness, she says in an almost scolding tone "you will succeed and you better! I am at the edge of the pond behind the reeds). The presenter takes the floor and animates. He explains the rules of the contest: "the winner will be the one who does not get eaten. If there are even 2 candidates left, the game is restarted until there is one left. See no candidate!", I felt intrigued when he said: "eat". The crocodiles come in and look a little hungry.

The presenter announces the first candidate. The parents and families of the candidates have come out of the pond and are watching through a screened balcony (a bit like in a zoo, I am hidden behind the reeds and no one seems to see me, the aggressive mother is also behind the reeds, she doesn't see me but I can see her back to me, she is watching the scene) The first candidate is a young girl, whose father has told her that she is the best. She is dressed in a white one-piece swimsuit and she is well made up, with the look of a girl who is parading to be miss. The crocodiles approach her, one of them pulls her into the water and the crocodiles start eating her. I hear the crowd make an "Ooowwwhhh" sound as if to express an "oh no that's too bad".

The host, in a cheerful voice expresses the fact that the candidate is not chosen, now next candidate." he says. The second candidate dressed in a pink princess dress like a wedding dress, with sequins on it. she decides to strike a pose, she sits on the rock on which she was standing. She takes the posture of a mermaid waiting on a rock, her feet brought back to her buttocks. The crocodiles around her are less numerous because one of them, who is hungry, is still eating the previous candidate. The crocodiles do not appreciate the candidate. A crocodile slowly approaches the candidate from her left, looks at her for a moment (3 seconds) without any particular condition, the candidate has wide eyes, she is waiting to know if she is accepted. The crocodile attacks her at the level of the bust then it draws it in water, it starts to eat it.

The third announced candidate was already being attacked by two crocodiles. The parents seemed to find the show normal. Some of them, seem to be disappointed by the non success of their child (it was not my case I felt annoyed and bored, however I remained hidden).

I look into the pond, I see eaten limbs floating on the surface of the water and the head of a candidate. The crocodiles finish eating, I see one diving with the head in question... It was the head of the candidate dressed in pink... For me it was too much, I felt the urge to go and shout to the crowd that this kind of show is not normal, and I could see myself doing it... Except that before I could even take action, the last candidate is announced, he is shirtless and horrified. This is the child of the mother who showed an aggressive side. Instead of striking a pose, he dances in imitation of the crocodile walk. It seems to work, the crocodiles look at him warily and seem to mistake him for one of their own. However, I sense that the crocodiles are getting suspicious again.

Then the mother of the child candidate, goes to recover it, she exclaims "that's enough, now he has won! She pulls him from the rock to the ground, then in the reeds, he is sheltered and she places on his shoulders a white towel, like the tights he wears. He says to himself that after having seen the fate reserved to those who act differently, this experience has served him as a lesson, he will not try to be him anymore. The contestant is chosen by the host as the winner of the contest and joins civilization outside the studio. I took the way back, I pass the door that joins the studio and the TV set. Once outside, I realize that the civilians all seem to have the same look and conditioning.

Sharing: when I woke up after having this dream, I had the sensation of having seen the negative side of our current society. The crocodiles, I interpreted them as unscrupulous beings who seek only to act in their own interests (I have since stepped back). The teenagers, I interpreted them as young people, full of good will, they have (according to me) a part of their originality to bring to the society.

The scene described in my dream made me react and I told myself when I woke up "in reality" that I had to denounce the way society conditions those who do not fit into its criteria; through a blog where I underline the flaws and lies of our society but I intend to propose in my articles one or more viable solutions, accessible, that I apply and that will allow everyone to choose a lifestyle. It will be above all a blog for me through which I intend to share my points of view with readers (for example, favouring organic products, taking an interest in the conditions and methods of production, of fishing. Getting closer to farmers and exposing to everyone the possibility to grow their own food for a better approach of their needs and the needs of those around, humans, animals, nature... mutual aid, etc...).
