Dream #1: Apocalypse

Share: This is a dream I had when I was about 7 or 8 years old. This dream had such an impact on me that even today at 55 years old I remember it in all its details. At that time I often dreamed about the End of the World and I was very afraid of this event.

Dream: I am with my father, holding his hand, and we are walking on a road with little traffic. We return to the house. Suddenly it is dusk and the number "10" appears in the sky. The number is very big and very bright. At this moment I know that it is the sign of the End of the World, then the number "10" disappears and the number "9" appears, and so on for all the numbers, it is a countdown and after the "0" it will be the End of the World, I am so afraid, my father and I walk faster in order to be at home before the countdown is over. At the number "4" the cars driving on the road are rushed into the ditch as they are flattened and piled on top of each other. The ditches fill up quickly. At the number "1" we still haven't arrived home, I know we are going to die.

Dream #2: A black cat

Share: At a very young age my parents had a lot of problems with me, here is the story: I am the second of a family of 6 children. My mother told me that I had a terrible fear of cats because of so many nightmares that one night I came to join my parents in their bed, lying between them and regularly turning my mother's head so that she would look at me, I couldn't sleep. So much so that my father exasperated got up and turned on the light, he took me in his arms and put me in front of the mirror and he shouted at me "look you see you don't have cat ears". Afterwards my mother told me that I had a panic attack and that they had to take me to the doctor and get a sedative. My brothers, who had heard the story, would torment me by saying "Ha! you have cat ears" and in the middle of the day I would find myself standing on a chair screaming at my mother for help.

Dream: I am alone at dusk, it is almost night, on a dark road without noise; I want to go to a party. I am walking along and I am not reassured at all, when suddenly a beautiful black cat appears. I come to approach it and suddenly it looks at me with piercing eyes and screams. He turns around and urinates on me and then disappears. Bewildered, I go to the party, it was a costume ball and I remember that I was a teenager. There were lots of people, music and everyone was celebrating and dancing. One of my friends asked me to take off my mask, which I did. Afterwards he asked me again to take off my mask, I answered: "but I already took it off". He starts to laugh and he says to me: "Are you making fun of me? I then went to a bathroom and closed the door, I looked at myself in a mirror and my mask was really horrible, I took it off, and underneath it was the same thing, I took it off again and again and still the horror. That's when I would wake up in a panic every night.

Dream #3: At the Crossroads

Share: This is a very important dream for me, as I had it 3 years ago at the beginning of my relationship. These days, my relationship is in crisis and this dream often comes to mind. Background: 3 years ago, at the time of the dream, I had just experienced a burn out. I was off sick for a month. I often went to recharge my batteries in the valley near a magnificent waterfall and that is where I met Francesco. The water from the waterfall falls into a beautiful natural pool, which is black at the bottom (you can't see through the water because of the lack of light) but every day there is a beautiful rainbow that forms around the pool. As I am afraid of water, I asked Francesco to accompany me and he swam next to me... I was reassured by his presence. I was reassured by his presence. I dared to enter this place that for me is sacred. It is a dream in two parts... (I do not know if it is the same night or with an interval).

Dream: I'm walking down a path and I hear my ex-boyfriend behind me trying to run to get to me (in real life, I was ending a painful relationship)... as I walk faster than him, he's in pain and I hear him breathing hard.

I walk towards Francesco (who in reality is my boyfriend). I see Francesco who turns back to me, smiles at me, then looks down, turns around and continues walking fast. In front of us there is a mountain, I see two paths, the first one that goes up the mountain and the second one that turns around, on the left side of the mountain.

Francesco leaves choosing the second way and I am relieved because he doesn't go up... then I say to myself that if I walk fast I am lucky to catch up with him. I have a feeling of hope. In another part of the dream, I see Francesco and he tells me that we have a lesson to learn together...(in the concrete, I often wondered what that lesson would be).

Dream #4 : Interior designer

Dream: I am an interior designer. I go into the house of a lady I don't know in real life. Inside, all the walls are wallpapered with the same color. It is a wallpaper with big red and green tiles. I find it really old and sad. I visit the house. There is a young boy, the son of the lady. I ask him if he is the one who put the wallpaper. He answers me that yes. I ask him if it was for ease that he used the same paper. He says to me that yes. I go to the lady's room and I decide to transform everything. I already imagine in my mind the colors and the layout I want to do. I see beautiful white sheets and light.
