Dreams - Signs - Symbols
Our son is wondering about his future. A trucker is carrying chicks. My arm is released.
Parent Sharing: Our 5 and a half year old son has many questions about his future, especially about the job he will do when he is an adult. For several months now, he has been telling us that he will have 3 jobs: story inventor, spy and handyman.
And last week, he shared with me that when he thinks about the job he will do later, there are images that appear in his head. These images are of beautiful landscapes with tall trees. Some with orange leaves and some with golden leaves.
And since that day, he has been asking me to explain to him what fate is. How to answer?
The Dream: I'm driving on the right side of highway 20, in front of me there is a car and two trucks with trailers.
The car in front of me tries to overtake the second truck but the latter starts to weave and partially blocks the left lane, then it takes the right lane again, the motorist manages to pass, now it is me who is behind.
I can see that he is carrying chicks in black painted wooden crates. I want to pass him, but he makes a left turn into the yard of a company. It's a slaughterhouse. I turn too. This trucker is American.
As soon as he enters the yard, a man comes to meet him, he looks like a foreman, he is not very nice, he speaks to him with too much authority, he threatens him that he will not unload his truck or that he will not be paid, etc... I feel worry in the trucker but also that he does not want to let himself be done.
I get out of my car and head to the office, the truck driver gets out of his truck and walks behind me, then he grabs my right arm to get in with him. He seems to think I'm like the foreman. I want to help him because I think it's unfair the way he was treated, but I don't accept that he's holding my arm like that, so I tell him firmly to let go of me, I have to tell him several times, raising my voice a little more each time, and I end up telling him I want to help him but he has to let go of my arm first
He loosens his grip, we enter the office, he takes the phone and calls someone higher up in the company and explains the situation. From inside the office, I notice that there are 2 doors. I close them so that his conversation is not overheard by the foreman.
