A really deep song...

A reflection on death and the changes it makes us live...

It is during the 7ème Adhémar-Dion Hospice benefit gala on September 23, 2016, that the song was first heard to the general public. Kasara wrote the lyrics and melody for "A one-way trip with no return sung in duet with Martin Dubé and the music is signed by Jacques Graveline. This song is the official theme song of the Centre de soins palliatifs, La Maison Adhémar-Dion... A moment of emotion, of depth... an inspiring and very touching song that speaks of death and the journey at the end of life.

About Kasara:

"There have been gifted people in music, in mathematics, who at a very young age were able to surprise us. With Kasara... it is in wisdom that we meet a real gifted of Self-knowledge, of dreams, signs and symbols..."

Kasara, performer, author and co-composer of the song Un aller simple sans retour sung in duet with Martin Dubé for the Fondation Adhémar-Dion, has become through her books, meditation CDs and conferences that she gives, an exceptional model representing a new way of living by learning to be guided by the symbolic language of dreams and signs. This young woman radiates and shares her vision of the world, her wisdom, through her conferences and workshops. Thus, through the examples and testimonies she presents, she makes us understand that everything that disturbs us is a profound teaching about ourselves. She makes us reflect on the multi-dimensions of existence through an exceptional gift of communication that touches the heart and gently shakes us up
in our way of thinking and our deepest values.

Song about the hospice and the foundation of the adhémar-dion house:

Song performed by: Kasara & Martin Dubé
Lyrics by:  Kasara / Music: Jacques Gravelines, Kasara & Martin Dubé

Tears are streaming down my face
If I could only tell you
That I see your life in pictures again
It hurts to see you go
I saw my own funeral
On my body I saw you cry
My comfort is invisible
As in your eyes is my freedom

[Refrain]

Deep down I knew it was time
I bring with me all my memories
I went on a trip
A one-way trip with no return
Like the sun after the rain
As after winter comes spring
After death comes life
I continue my way differently...

I hear your voice in my sleep
I would give so much to see you again
I'm afraid to even forget your eyes
That fly away in my memory
You think you're alone, but here I am
At your side, I feel your pain
God knows how much I love you
Your sadness is greater than mine

[Refrain]

Deep down I knew it was time
I bring with me all my memories
I went on a trip
A one-way trip with no return
Like the sun after the rain
As after winter comes spring
After death comes life
I continue my path in another way

And if my life is a dream
And if my dreams are my life
How to cross this border?
Close your eyes, I will guide your dream...
